BUILD ORDER: Fast Reaper Rush vs Terran

This is a very agressive and fast rush that can be used in a TvT, specially if your oponent goes for marines early game. Here's the build order:

Fast Reaper Build Order

  • 10 Barracks
  • 11 First gas and supply
  • 3 SCVs on gas as soon as possible
  • Wait 50 gas then Tech Lab on Barracks
  • Build your first Reaper as soon as Tech Lab is up (waypoint to your opponent's natural expand)
  • Second gas
  • More Reapers to your taste

Why is this good versus Terran?

Reapers in a small group destroy marines. They shoot very fast - despite having a shorter range: 4.5 instead of marine's 5.0 - Soon after the marines are dead you can havoc his supply depots very fast with the D8 charges.

Quote from Buzzjuice: This strategy is more effective on maps like Desert Oasis or Blistering Sands. The very long distance for ground units makes it difficult for marines, allowing YOU more time to build up reapers. At the same time, the distance, in terms of cliffs, is very short so you can easily send in Reapers very quickly to their base and do some economy damage or harrass. Again Reapers are good, but are much better at hit and run. Strong micro does a lot to affect how effective Reapers become in combat.

I've taken the liberty to edit your guide a bit to make it look better. Presentation is really important for guides, especially for build orders imo.

However, if the guy goes helions you are in trouble.
