I feel like this is a stupid question, but it seems to be a general formatting thing among guides. Is the number next to a particular step in the guide (Example: 16 Queen) the amount of harvesters you should have before building that particular unit/structure?
This is one of the best guides I've seen on this website! I've always been a Protoss player, but the way TLO played Terran that game made me think twice. Reapers and Ghosts seem like way too much fun!
Not only was the information excellent, but the formatting was also nice; highlighting key words/phrases and such. Hopefully more guides will turn out like this rather than walls of text. Awesome!
Please upload many of your replays! I'd like to see replays of your guides/strategies in action with some commentary!
Maybe instead of reducing the Psi Storm radius they could make it do slightly less damage. Just 2 or 3 of them can destroy an army of weaker units (and only 1 for the weakest units if they get all ticks of damage), and I imagine anyone with High Templars would be able to throw out more than just 2 or 3 Psi Storms.
The upgrade to Spine Crawlers seems unnecessary. They already seemed quite powerful to me.
The missile turret upgrade is nice; they'll probably be more able to defend against any Muta harass at the mineral line or something like that.
As for the Banshee HP upgrade, how game-breaking is 10 HP? I suppose it'll take 2 more hits from weaker units to kill it and 1 more hit from others. If you have a lot of Banshees, that increased survivability is nice, but I haven't seen many people get a ton of Banshees. Maybe I haven't watched enough Terran replays to see a large force of Banshees. It'll make the Bancheese a little more difficult to counter, at least.
Oh much much better Jame! Thank you! I was in kind of a hurry to get the guide posted because I had started making it on the guide tool at least twice and subsequently lost all I had done because I accidently pressed backspace, which caused my browser to go back. In future guides, I will do a much better job of editing photos and will hopefully have more high-quality photos as well.
It appears that teknogods are no longer working on LazyLauncher. Almost all references to it on their website have been removed, and the link to their website where they had the LazyLauncher download is no longer working. All Starcraft 2 info on their site has been ghosted. I suppose the nibbits link still works, but don't expect any new versions of LazyLauncher. Method 1 might be gone if LazyLauncher can no longer be downloaded from anywhere.
Just FYI, I already had it. I was trying to go to their website to get some support on it.
This is an extremely interesting strategy to 2v2. Despite the winning team having only 20 more harvesters than the losing team, they gathered double the minerals and 65% more gas.
Light blue alone gathered 51% more minerals with only 3 more harvesters. What kind of split was there between gas harvesters and mineral harvesters, if available? I don't have access to beta nor replays, at least the replays posted on this site.
Those high-yield expansions seem like the key to winning 2v2.
