Printable sc2 maps
While waiting for the final release of SC2 with Blizzard sorting all the issues out (so much post-patch13 lag!), I decided to learn the maps that are most popular. From watching the replays, I would like to chart out what the players are doing on a map. If ur like me who hasn't played SC for ages, learning the new maps will help u out. Alas, the prob is there are no printable maps around after i googled for it (the dark colors really make ur prints look like carbon paper).
So decided to do the next best thing and edit the high res maps myself (thx @teamliquidnet) by converting the colors on MS paint.
All I did was made the pic into "negative" and "auto-balance" the colors. Thats it.
Now after printing it looks MUCH better and i can highlight all the choke points. minerals, enemy position, etc.
Sc2 banshee rush build order
Starcraft 2 Build Order: Banshee Rush
If you follow this build order, you'll have Banshees coming out within 4:30min in the game. Just make sure you wall off your base correctly with supply depots and a barracks to make sure that you survive until then.
Build Order
- 10: Supply Depot
- 11: Refinery (put 3 SCVs on it as soon as possible)
- 12: Barracks
- 15: Refinery #2 (put 3 SCVs on it as soon as possible)
- 16: Factory
- 18: 2x Starports
- 18: Supply Depot
- 18: Tech Lab on Barracks
- 18: Tech Lab on Factory
- 18: As soon as the Tech Labs are built, swap the two Starports with the Barracks and the Factory.
Start producing Banshees!
How to run away and still have a chance!
If a army of Zergs,Protosses, and Terrans come out of nowhere and destroyes almost everything, make the buildings fly in the sky to land.(It won`t work on Pros because is they are Zergs,he will bring in a bunch of hidrilasks and muskilats,he will kill all of your flying building. The Terrans will bring marines and wraiths to destroy them too.The Protosses?Well,if they are around, they would kick your @sses because they hav a lot of flying units, also strong! They have dragoons and other stuff.WARNING=U MUST HAVE A C.C TO DO THIS!!!!(Command Center). You have to have it because the SCVs can build new things! You can produce them at the C.C. If you don`t have it, your a GONER!
Protoss stalker trick
Protoss stalker trick
Well i was browsing through some videos and i found a very cool trick for Protoss that can be very useful in certain situations. The trick requires 3 things
1. A lot of stalkers
2. An Observer (for vision of the destination)
Massing thors effectively
Before I begin this guide, I would like to say thank you to HuskyStarcraft for casting this replay. This game is an unconventional Korean ZvT in which the Terran player, SlayersBoxeR, massed Thors with some Hellion support against the Zerg player, Cellawerra, who often switched tech in an attempt to battle the Thors. This replay is excellent not only for the interesting gameplay but also for Husky’s hilarious cast of it. Husky hadn’t slept the whole night (it was around 9:30am) when he casted the game, so he’s a bit loopy. Also, since this replay is on Youtube, I didn’t have the ability to analyze the game like a normal replay; I had to go with whatever Husky showed. That being said, I did my best to approximate the opening build of SlayersBoxeR as well as offer some commentary at various points in the game. My intent with this guide is not to offer an extreme in-depth analysis of this strategy (that is nearly impossible without the replay file), but I just wanted to post the replay and offer some commentary. On with the guide!
